All I wanna do is just listen to some midi files...
By default, PianoCheater assumes you're starting your daily piano practice.
If you wanna just listen to some midis you found...
right click the dir in windows explorer and pick "Play_with_PianoCheater"
OR click PianoCheater's top left toolbar button "load/find new song files"
put in a search string if desired (scans for matching filenames)
click the little magnifying glass (find song files to listen to)
and pick a top directory to search.
DO NOT PICK C:\ - THAT CAN LOOP FOREVER due to "symbolic links".
There are a JILLION midi files you can find via google.
Keep the JUNKY midi files OUTSIDE of your PianoCheaterSongs dir.
COPY your original midi files into PianoCheaterSongs dir ONLY IF you're thinking
about practicing it.
Sorry to tell ya this, but PianoCheater is a =straight ascii= app.
Use unicode characters at your own risk...:/
I apologize, but this keeps PianoCheater SIMPLER for =me= :/
